Once Innovations Raises $5M with Option for Additional $14M

After attending and presenting at the 2013 Ag Innovation Showcase, Once Innovations raised over $5M towards R&D with the option for an additional $14M in funding. Year-to-date, Once Innovation has filed over 100 patent applicationsfor its proprietary, production enhancing lighting technology aimed at helping the world produce more food at lower costs. In addition to launching a new website in 2015, Once Innovation is continuing its partnerships with a multitude of government agencies and associations such as the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the Midwest Poultry Federation, and the Minnesota Project, to help make this vision a reality.

Founded in 2008 by Zdenko Grajcar, a recognized leader in LED innovations, Once Innovations sought to pioneer LED technology in the Ag industry. Mr. Grajcar’s first company Lumificient Corporation, was one of the first to apply LED technology to general illumination.
