Fiberstar Wins 2015 FIE Natural/Organic Award

After presenting at the Ag Innovation Showcase in 2014, Fiberstar Bio won the 2015 Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) Natural/Organic Award. Fiberstar was also recognized a third time by INC Magazine in their Inc5000 list of fastest growing companies in the US. Additionally, their signature food ingredient Citri-Fi is now used in food and beverage applications in more than 50 countries. 

Founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Fiberstar Inc.’s R&D division and intellectual property portfolio, Fiberstar Bio produces water binding, gelling, viscosity, emulsification, improved nutrition, and suspending ingredients from food processing byproducts, such as citrus pulp, potato fiber, and sugar beet pulp. Fiberstar Bio’s patented technologies mechanically open up and increase the surface structure of these materials by up to 20 times.
